Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. The Unkindest Cut

Having followed accounts of political and financial doings over the years, I can't help but notice how frequently one is told that "public opinion is divided." It suddenly occurred to me that public opinion only is ever one thing. Divided.

And thank heavens for that. Imagine how quickly the demise of (un) civilisation if we were all in total agreement! At least the discussion of differing opinion raises the question and slows the pace of change just long enough so that sense and reason might have the chance to prevail.

Funny cartoon John. Don't like the look of that knife though... :-)

Jean, don't like the evil expression on his face either. If I were her, would be careful where and how I placed my nose in his business. Great cartoon, John C.
