Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Take Two Aspirins and Call in the Morning

Benjamin Franklin said in Poor Richard's Almanac (1736), "God heals and doctors take the fees." If Ben were around today he might add, "oh, and the insurance companies get rich."

I wonder what Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson would think of our country if they could see it today.

They would probably burst into tears and I would cry along with them. Never has this nation seen such spite among the politicians and ignoring of the people who voted them into office. Neither party has much going for it in my opinion. I have lost all illusions about Obama which pains me greatly.

Great cartoon, John C.

Lee, I'm not thrilled with the way things are going, but a deliberate onslaught by the right wing to discredit him, reinforced by the media, is taking it's toll.
