I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. Even before reading the caption I was laughing my ass off. Well, not literally -- all parts are still intact. ;-)
This reminds me of a line from Warren Zevon's song For My Next Trick I'll Need a Volunteer: "I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through."
