Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Oil Alone

A half century ago a gusher was a good thing. Now its another milestone on humanity's plunge toward extinction. Oops. did I say that? I meant enrichment. Or not.

Hair clumps! Why didn't BP think of that? Grease and coffee grounds are good at clogging plumbing too, but grease build-up will rot cast iron pipes, so I recommend the hair clump method for long-term reliability.

Now that we have a solid emergency plan, we can resume drilling in the arctic and the Atlantic coast. ;-)

Right on, Andrew, this cartoon was originally envisioned as being in the kitchen.

Jean, Hiram's problems start with being named Hiram.
