Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. The Heart of Darkness

It's what they call a cliffhanger. After going non-stop for almost four years I'm taking a short breather, and I figured the best way to do it was to leave behind something that will make y'all want to come back. In the meantime, however, I will continue to post daily, mostly past favorites (some with new captions) with some surprises thrown in. And fear not, Harley and Bear will emerge from this just fine.

So sorry to hear this John... but pleased all the same to hear you're taking time out for a breather. Will look forward to new material upon your return. Have fun!

Oh, this is too bad of you, John C. Shades of the serials when I was a child and would go to the movies on Sat. afternoon with the gang from St Mary's Holy School. Even the nuns who went with us could hardly wait until the following week to see how the hero and heroine fared against the villein. Take your well deserved rest if you must but keep Bear and Harley safe for us. For myself, I look forward to revisiting some of the older cartoons so put your feet up, read Mad Magazine and eat your pomegranates while sipping on an RC cola. Enjoy!
