Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. A Writer's Rights

The bitterest part is, getting the manuscript to the publisher in the first place wasn't free. Free country? Bah, humbug. They talk about the 'free skies of United." So when did they last let you fly to Paris for free? And freeways. Don't make me laugh. I spent an hour an a half yesterday going sixteen miles.

I would not mind the rejection slips quite as much if they were not form letters. A gentle little note telling me what a terrific painter I am would go a long ways to soothing the ego. The last sentence of "take your work else" would not stab so badly then, says I, grinning.

Agree about the freeway traffic for sure!!!

Funny cartoon that hits the spot today.
