To the Victor the Spoiled Stuff
It's comforting that all the pundits and bloviators have settled on Obama's choice of a running mate as the hot topic of the moment. It obviates the need for them to come up with original subjects to fill twenty-five hours daily of empty chatter, and takes a lot of pressure off the public. Nobody needs to fear they might be missing something on another channel. Let's not forget that President Bush settled the matter of the vice president by asking one of his father's trusted insiders to head the committee that would select a candidate for him. The man looked over the field of possibilities and wasted no time choosing himself. It was Dick Cheney.

Oh that stinks... but what else can we expect... it's politics. Yesterday's newspaper cartoon here shows Hillary calling out from the grave for Obama to stop hogging the spotlight at her photoshoot. Oh dear. ~sigh~ talk about being buried alive
Not only has Hillary had to concede the race but now they want her to eat crow as Obama's campaign did not like her speech last night. Jeesh, talk about wanting to humiliate someone. Glad I am an independent. What happened to a government by the people and for the people. Guess only super delegates are people. The rest of us must be chopped liver.
What a crazy system. Still think the Democrats shot themselves in the foot. Hillary supporters will now vote Republican or not vote at all. I know what I'd do. ;-) LOL
Talk about shooting one's self in the foot, anyone who votes for McCain, or contributes to his effort by not voting, deserves the Supreme Court Justices he'll be appointing. This is not a time for tantrums.
Right On John!! How is Carla's political career coming? roger
Hi Roger. It's on hold. The male political establishment in Rome made sure the new upstart "woman's party" didn't get a toehold. It's a shame gas prices are what they are, it obviates a car journey this summer and knocks out the possibility of my heading north and being able to visit.
