War on Poverty. War On Drugs, War On Obesity, War On Fuel Consumption, War On Illiteracy, we're obsessed with war in this country. How about a War on Politicians Who Want to Solve Every Problem By Making War On It? Or better yet, how about a War On War?

Tours US with "Meet Mr. Wright," his one-man play about Frank Lloyd Wright. Art exhibitions in Italy and U.S. His work as a cartoonist has been seen in MAD magazine. Illustrated the children's books "How the Waif Bunny Saved the Boy" and "The Man In the Red Bandana" about his nephew Welles Crowther, a hero of 9/11, written by his niece, Honor Crowther Fagin, Welles's sister. Author of novel "Firebase," published in UK by Constable and US by St. Martins Press. For many years an avid student and reader of Tarot. Performs weddings as a Los Angeles County Deputy Commissioner of Civil Marriage.

It's the "macho" solution to everything. Women need to have a "real" say... free of gender bias. Hillary was the last good chance. (IMO of course)

Jean, you are so right. Obama was the media darling but Hillary was the real thing. Sad day when the USA exchange gold for glitter.
At the last count there was something like a dozen or more entirely self-enclosed and self-sufficient military bases built rapidly under contract to house our troops in Iraq. All of them contain PXs and the American fast-food concessions beloved by our boys when they are back home. The result of which is that those of our kids who are not off patrolling or policing are back at the base watching pornos, smoking pot, or gorging themselves on American junk food and growing fat. And who does this profit? Dick Cheney’s Halliburton and all the pals of Halliburton who support the military/industrial/fast food complex.
Just goes to show that capitalism can be right up there with communism when it comes to internal corruption. Who can poke a stick at China then?
And the CIA, prof, who makes sure there's a steady supply of blow from Afghanistan.
