Buy, Buy
According to Samuel Johnson: "Advertisements are now so numerous that they are very negligently perused, and it is therefore become necessary to gain attention by magnificence of promises, and by eloquence sometimes sublime and sometimes pathetic. Promise -- large promise -- is the soul of advertising." (The Idler, 1759)
And for goodness sake don't forget that my cartoons are available on a line of merchandise including t-shirts, aprons, cards, and mugs at www.zazzle.com/jcrowtherart. If you don't see one you want there contact me and I'll make sure you can get it.

John... I'll go over and check out your shop. I don't regularly order from overseas. When I have in the past it's sometimes sent by whale mail and can take an age (!) sometimes it just never shows up. What's been your experience with zazzle shipping? Do you make good sales through them... and what would you say are your best sellers?
Great cartoon (as always)... as for the commentary... who'd have thunk it...way back in 1759? LOL
as always, these two are always funny.
Thanks, Lee.
Jean, I wasn't really meaning to push my stuff (though I'd never discourage a sale). But it seemed to fit in so well with the day's theme. I like Zazzle. I have to do the marketing, but they ship quickly and the products are good. They also replace items that are faulty without asking you for a return.
On the other hand I will soon be plugging a splendiferous collection of cartoons, the best of the journey, in a paperback edition.
Hi John:
I am still enjoying the mug that I bought.
Ellie
