Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Let's Tango

"The holy passion of Friendship is of so sweet and steady and loyal and enduring a nature that it will last through a whole lifetime, if not asked to lend money." Mark Twain, The Tragedy of Pudd'nhead Wilson, 1894.

The test of true friendship comes when troubles set in. Most (who would be friend) duck for cover at the slightest whiff. My grandmother used to say "smile and the world smiles with you... weep and you weep alone" And never a truer word was spoken in jest.

In today's world the admonishment might more appropriately be "pick yourself up and move right alone or stay at your peril and get trampled"

Interesting cartoon John... your mind works in mysterious ways! LOL

[grin] Jean, I don't think I could do this if weird stuff wasn't going on in my head. And hey, I have to live with it 24/7.
