Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. More Office Humor

Today's the day, everyone, the big nine-oh-oh. Yup, another century, 900 straight days of new cartoons. And by the way, lest anyone doubt that cartooning is often fueled by rage, I offer up the above.

Funny (and fitting) cartoon for your 900th in a row John. Love the Microslop reference! Congratulations again on a terrific achievement... :-)

btw how do you archive the hard copies of these? Do you keep them in categories for easy reference?

Good question, Jean. Great cartoon, John C. My daughter has a new Dell and somehow or another, her husband who is a genius on computers, took Vista out and put in latest Mic. Office and it works wonderfully. She hated Vista and do not blame her. The program is no good.

Congratulations on the big nine, o, o.

Thanks, Jean and Lee.

Jean, I'm delighted you picked up on the "Microslop." I debated whether it would be that or "slopware."

I have two separate archiving systems, Jean. Hard copies of the completed cartoons, with the captions, are kept in loose leaf binders and have little stickers on them showing when they were posted. Not a perfect system, because there's no cross referencing with the originals, which I hesitate to admit are in unorganized piles. It's why putting the book together was a bit of a nightmare, and alas, I haven't improved on my lack of a filing system.
