Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Wait Problem

"What some people call health, if purchased by perpetual anxiety about diet, isn't much better than tedious disease." George Dennison Prentice, Prenticeana, 1860.

Great cartoon, love it. Have a great deal of sympathy for him. (grin)

Can't imagine what it must be like but it's definitely a (big) problem in society today. Little wonder when we are misguided right from the top about what's good for us and what's not. Cool cartoon John :-)

Thanks, Lee and Jean. Yes, Jean, we live in a conflict of interests world where we have the food industry frantically selling us what will make us sick enough to support the health industry (which perhaps should be called the 'unhealth' industry).

We know this when we go to the doctor feeling unwell but with no quantifiable symptoms and we are sent away with the advice to come back when we are really sick and there is something to treat. Don't laugh... this really happened! LOL
