Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Groan!

A bit of wisdom from the op-ed page of this morning's Los Angeles Times is worth passing along: remember, your stockbroker isn't interested in helping make sure your children will go to college, he's interested in making sure his children go to college. Beware the king's men.

(((chuckles))) funny one John. Groan alright! LOL

Dead right too about stockbrokers. People crack me up as well when they say the pilot will be doing all the right things because he wants to get home safely just like the rest of us. Cold comfort there when he too is only human like the rest of us. And perhaps fatally flawed.

So true, Jean! Like the guy who flipped his car over on the I10. He, too, presumably wanted to get home like the rest of us. As for pilots, it's not the inexperienced ones we need to be afraid of, it's the experienced ones who long ago stopped giving the job their full attention.
