Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. The Birds and the Boys

It seems that the earthquake in Chile has rearranged earth's mass sufficiently to result in days that are 1.5 millionth of a second shorter. More alarming still, I heard recently that the moon has been drifting away from us at the rate of an inch a year, which means it's a whole three feet further away now than it was when I was a boy. I just knew it looked different.

there just aren't enough milliseconds in the day to get everything done.

good cartoon and the commentary was great. Really worried about the moon as I wonder if it is something that the earth said that is causing the drift. Were we not PC enough? I understand that the moon is sensitive. oh dear.

LOL, Andrew. Time sure flies.

Lee, I've always been convinced the moon wanted out.
