Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Dressing Down

"When seen in the perspective of a half-dozen years or so, the best of our fashions strike us as grotesque, if not unsightly." Thorstein Veblen, The Theory of the Leisure Class, 1899.

You got me with this one John, My Hustler friends come stay in fancy NYC Hotels with fancy garb and gold watches and complain about getting robbed. My self made rich friends come to NYC, they have coins dropped in their paper coffee cups 'cause they often look like Bear! My gay eye for the straight guy friends keep trying to sharpen up my street look, but I enjoy the occasional quarters in my coffee cup. Cheers, NYRich

Bear as usual needs no new feathers to make him a gentleman, nor does Harley. They are to the manor born, so to speak. (grin)
