Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Mystery Meat

"Meat so dressed and sauced and seasoned that you don't know whether it was beef or mutton -- flesh, fowl, or good red herring." George du Maurier, Trilby, 1894.

I agree with the George du Maurier quote. Sauces and spices should accent the taste, not mask it.

Bear's Corollary could be, divert attention from the taste of gross food by drowning it in Tabasco.
