Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Out of the Mouths

This has nothing to do with the cartoon, but I thought it was worth sharing. The other day my 100% latino lacrosse players from Huntington Park High School in East L.A. went up against New Jewish Community School in the Valley. After the game the home team announced it was bringing in pizza for all the boys. I was talking with a couple of my players when their coach came over to ask me if we had any preferences for toppings. One of my guys suggested pepperoni. The coach genially pointed out that some of his players only ate kosher. Later, when the pizzas were arriving, my player sidled up to me looking nervous. "What's it going to taste like, coach?" he asked me. "I've never had Jewish pizza before."

Love the cartoon, but the story beneath was a definite 'nose tap'. All the best, mate. Check in on you every day.

Jeremy Jeremy Jeremy! Great to see our little man sparking on all four cylinders! LOL Great cartoon!

Call me thick as four short planks... but the commentary flew right over I'm afraid. Must have been because those darned chickens finally crossed the infernal road! LOL

another great Jeremy, John C. One more year and Jeremy's mother will be completely either grey headed or white haired standing on ends. (Sigh), poor woman.
What did they order by the way? My guess would be cheese? I do not mix meat and cheese together so that is the reason for my guess.

Jeremy asks many questions of his mother. I remember those days when my kids came up with similar ones. One day, my son's teacher called me and told me my son asked a question in class and she told him to ask me when he got home. She wanted to warn me to expect it. I thought it was a question that his father should give him the father/son talk. My husband quickly found an errand to do so it was left up to me......

My Jewish friends have never been picky about eating kosher.
