In Good Spirits
And on another subject altogether, the other day I heard a pundit taking the position that mankind's responsibility for the global harming problem is being blown out of proportion. Cows, he argued pass enormous amounts of methane gas, and therefore are just as big polluters than we are. What udder nonsense. First of all, we wouldn't have so many cows if we weren't such huge consumers of t-bone steaks and Big Macs (and just imagine the amount of pollution resulting from cooking fries). And second, are farting cows a good reason to go on having gas guzzling cars?

Oops... now where did my post go? Hmmm.. maybe stacked away with those sheets? Harriet? Oh... Harrrriet! LOL
Udder nonsense alright. The hair goes up on the back of my neck when I hear this furphy being "trotted" out yet again. Will all the billions of tonnes of carbon emissions belching from factories trucks buses cars & power stations how on earth could animals make a negative impact? It's one more cockemanie idea put forward by special interest lobby groups trying to convert the world to vegetarianism. And much like the erroneous lightbulb solution... amounts to little more than the placing a bandaid over a blistering canchor.
Interesting cartoon John... a nod perhaps to upcoming Halloween?
You're sharp, Jean. To tell you the truth, I hadn't even thought of that. If I had I'd have waited a few days before posting it. (BTW, I'd of... is another of those currently popular linguistic spasms that drives me nuts.)
What then (I wonder) after that... I'd've? *wink* (((LOL)))
