Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. A Hunger For Victory

The team had lost seventeen games in a row, so they decided to try a couple of alternatives. First they replaced the coach. When that didn't work they replaced the players. Still no luck. So they changed the name of the team from the Slugs.

Football gear above the waist, silly little sticks with butterfly nets, what game is this, from another planet? And, three of these cartoons in the last few days? Enlighten us John!

Ah, Anonymous, you haven't been paying attention. To quote John McPhee in a recent New Yorker magazine: "Of [hockey, basketball, soccer, water polo, and lacrosse].... lacrosse creates the fastest and crispest accumulation of passes and is the prettiest to watch."
