Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. There's a Reason They're Called Drama Queens

Henry Fonda was the most amazing actor I ever worked with. It was widely claimed he always played the same character, basically himself, and yet when he stepped onto the set he instantly transformed into a completely different person, different background, personality, soul. And unlike with most other actors you never saw the work. It was magic, a kind of alchemy.

I remember a quote from Jane Fonda who worked with her father in On Golden Pond. His sight was failing and as they were getting ready to do a scene she asked anxiously " Can you see me?" He replied " I don't have to see you." Roger Great cartoon!
