Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. For mugs, t-shirts, and other products visit my gift shop at www.zazzle.com/jcrowtherart* (be sure to include the *).

Where There's Smoke There's Denial

"I wanted people to stay out of my business," the man said, "so they did, and now my business is going broke."

The watercolor of the snowy airport is very timely and brings back memories of flying in snowy weather. I've been stranded at O'Hare more than once, and one time I just barely got out of Washington DC before the airport was shut down. Been there, done that... fortunately not this year.

I think human kind needs to worry about all the different kinds of footprints he might leave behind into the future (not just the carbon variety) Just another trendy catch phrase I reckon. However... yes... remember this sketch and love it still. Remember how George went into raptures over it John? A lesson in composition right there.

My friend is stuck in Paris. Snowed in. Man... if only I could be stuck in Paris... (((chuckles)))
