Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. Health Care Reform

It's not everyday that you get to tell a member of Stephen Colbert's production staff that Wilford Brimley said to tell Colbert to perform an act of solo sexual gymnastics with a part of the body that might be of interest to a proctologist. Okay, that's not exactly the way Wilford put it, so I had to, well, translate. Today was the day.

we should be so lucky to have a second opinion or even see a health care person once this health care goes into effect. will be nhc all over again. only in those days, i could afford to be a private patient. yes, i know, john c. you do not agree with me. but nevertheless this is a great cartoon!

Glad you liked the 'toon, Lee.

Yes, the pharmaceutical and insurance industries who make the big bucks off the health care debacle in the U.S. have scared the crap out of you, too, all in the name of hoping to continue with the great rip off they've been enjoying for years.

Nah, they have not scared me, what scares me is the fact that my monthly payment went up over $100 per month starting next month and I could barely afford it when it was 181.00 per month. Afraid I do not have any sympathy for any of these companies nor do I believe that the government has my best interest at heart.

I agree on this one, Lee, the government is squarely in the pocket of the big money interests who are screwing you and me. So the question is, do we simply allow them all to continue screwing us, or do we fight for real reform? It has to start somewhere.
