Cartoons, cartoons, cartoons.... John Crowther's Cartoon Odyssey

I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. All cartoons are available as prints or originals, framed or unframed, through my website or e-mail. I Do, I Do

Here's an idea for the presidential debates, hook candidates up to a lie detector test. If they refuse, it means they have every intention of lying. It would save us all a lot of time and money. In fact, it would ensure an almost instant campaign. Like on reality TV, one lie and you're out.

That's not a bad thought. An idea I shared with friends is that we get to bring paint ball guns to the debates. Every time a candidate doesn't answer the question, or gives a glib and unrealistic answer, we can shoot 'em with the paintball. The least painted candidate wins the show. Your way would be quicker, but mine would be more fun!

That is an interesting idea, Gretchen.

Personally think that all of them lie. Each one of them would be more colourful than an Easter egg.
