I think of it as The Fool's Journey. I've been asked who the "fool" is. It's me, but in the classical sense of the court jester. Only the fool was allowed to tell the king of his follies. Just to put things into perspective. If a printer turns out a one hundred dollar bill once every second, he'll print a million dollars in a little less than three hours. To print 700 billion, however, will take him 220 years. I think it was the late Sen. Everett Dirksen who once said, "a billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you're talking about real money."

Illustrated the children's books "How the Waif Bunny Saved the Boy" and "The Man In the Red Bandana" about his nephew Welles Crowther, a hero of 9/11, written by his niece, Honor Crowther Fagin, Welles's sister. Author of novel "Firebase," published in UK by Constable and US by St. Martins Press. For many years an avid student and reader of Tarot. Performs weddings as a Los Angeles County Deputy Commissioner of Civil Marriage.

Sen. Everett Dirksen was said to be the greatest orator in the Senate. Hubert Humphrey said of him once that Dirksen had made the finest speech advocating isolationism Humphrey had ever heard on the floor of the senate; he also made the finest speech denouncing it.
